Senior Cyber Security Analyst - Security Capability, ongoing & 12 month temporary position available - flexible office locations and hybrid options available The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is seeking experienced Senior Cyber Security Analysts to join our growing team. In this role, you will be crucial to the implementation, management and support of a variety of enterprise security tools, platforms and controls, including CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, Secure Web Gateways, Web Application Firewalls, Cloud Security Posture Management, Data Loss Prevention, Application Control, Email and Endpoint Security and more. The Security Capabilities team is a key team within the Cyber and Information Security Office responsible for the management of a variety of security tools and platforms, and contributing to secure cloud environments. This role is pivotal to enhancing the security posture for DCS and its Agencies and in mitigating security risks. Your responsibilities will include: Managing day-to-day operational tasks and requests for the supported platforms, tools, and policies. Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to address cyber security risks and issues. Investigating and resolving operational incidents. Demonstrating excellent communication skills to build strong relationships and provide valuable technical insights and influence to stakeholders at various organizational levels. Contributing to the successful delivery of cyber security projects. About you: Technically minded with proven experience in supporting a wide variety of enterprise security tools and platforms including WAFs, proxies, XDRs, DLP solutions, application whitelisting solutions. Experience managing interdependencies and competing demands to ensure objectives are achieved. Experience working in multi-disciplinary project teams. Relevant industry certifications such as Microsoft SC200/AZ500, AWS Cloud Security and/or relevant industry experience is desirable. You will also have significant experience in at one or more of the following areas: Identifying and remediating cloud security misconfigurations across various cloud provider platforms. Managing endpoint security controls to meet security framework compliance, including Essential 8 ML2. Managing and supporting web application firewalls, proxies, and extended detection and response (XDR) platforms.
