Amplify your impact at a world top 50 UniversityBe surrounded by extraordinary ideas - and the people who discover themThe Opportunity The Senior IT Project Officer provides a range of high-level project coordination services to support the implementation of smaller scale and impact projects and sub-projects in response to strategic business requirements. This includes end-to-end coordination of project plans, objectives, resources and targets. The Senior IT Project Officer is a key liaison point between eSolutions and university stakeholders, IT functions and end users and works closely with these groups to ensure the timely delivery of project deliverables in accordance with agreed timeframes and budgets.
The Senior IT Project Officer operates with excellence and expertise in process and judgement to provide sound and timely advice and support to project staff and other stakeholders.
To be successful the eligible candidate will have: Excellent project management skills with a record of successfully coordinating projects through to completion in accordance with agreed standards, timeframes and budgets with experience in supporting change initiatives in a large and complex organisationHighly developed relationship management skills, including the ability to interact, negotiate and gain co-operation with a variety of stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in developing effective and professional documentation and presentationsExcellent research, analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and recommend solutions to challenging issuesAbout Monash University At Monash, work feels different.
