Junior QC Scientist/Engineer Permanent Full-time in the Sydney northwest technology corridor. Salary $70-80K base Super. Mainly on-site work as the job relates to production. This is an opportunity for a candidate who has 1-2 years of technical experience in manufacturing QC and is looking for a place where they can grow. The role is performing day-to-day quality control tasks that support the manufacture of medical devices. The products contain electronic hardware, sterile consumable components, and software systems. Profile : A degree in a related science or engineering field (chemistry, biology, electrical, mechanical, biomedical, etc.). Microbiology or hardware engineering is of particular interest. Previous experience working for a medical device or pharmaceutical company. An understanding of what it means to work under ISO 13485 or GMP as either a production or quality operator. Skills in technical writing. Able to construct a procedure or work instruction with minimal guidance. Opportunities to take on validation protocols and produce reports. Problem solving skills. Able to conduct product investigations, inspections, and tests to determine appropriate corrective actions. Willingness to regularly work within a cleanroom. Wearing garments and gloves, managing jewellery, hair, cosmetics. The discipline to work independently and act appropriately in the controlled environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team. Ability to prioritize work to meet schedules. Candidates must have unrestricted rights to work in Australia.
