As the successful candidate, you will:
1. Prepare engineering calculations for hydraulic and conveying system as well as static equipment – tanks, pressure vessels, bins and chutes
2. Prepare project standard specifications and design criteria
3. Prepare scopes of work, technical specifications and data sheets for mechanical equipment with input from other disciplines
4. Manage packages through their whole life cycle, from specifying requirements, completing technical bid evaluations and expediting and reviewing vendor data
5. Work with designers to provide engineering input to 3D model and drawing development
6. Respond to technical queries raised during the construction phase and commissioning of systems on site as required
You bring to the role:
You have or are working towards a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a strong academic record. You will bring leadership and teamwork skills, advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, along with an ability to think laterally and innovatively. Flexibility to travel and work in locations within Australia and internationally is a bonus, but not essential. Finally, we are looking for candidates that have a passion and drive to make a real difference.
