We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Manager to oversee a defence project in the Darwin Regional area.
Responsibilities:Manage the day-to-day operations of the project site, ensuring compliance with all safety, quality and environmental standardsLiaise with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure project objectives are achievedCoordinate site activities with the project schedule and budget to ensure timely delivery of project milestonesProvide leadership and guidance to the site team, including contractors, sub-contractors and labourersMonitor and report on project progress, including weekly and monthly reports to senior managementManage the procurement and delivery of equipment, materials and supplies required for the projectEnsure all site documentation, including safety and environmental records, are maintained and up to dateEnsure compliance with all relevant legislative and regulatory requirementsRequirements:Minimum 3 years' experience in a site management role, preferably in a defence or infrastructure project environmentMust be an Australia citizen or permanent residentRelevant tertiary qualifications in construction management, engineering or a related fieldStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a diverse team of professionalsExcellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneouslySound knowledge of construction methodologies and standards, with the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsDemonstrated ability to work under pressure, and to meet tight deadlinesCurrent driver's licenceBenefits and perks:Access to our EAP (Employee Assistance Program)Excellent Leave Policies that include purchased Annual Leave, Work Life Balance Days, Community Days and generous Parental Leave schemeCollaborative and values-based workplace cultureSporting and Social eventsProfessional MembershipsDiscounts on Travel, Retail and HealthHow to apply:To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter online, highlighting your interest in the role, your motivation, and the relevant experience and skills you bring.
