ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting into the Head of Change & Ways of Working, two new positions have come about to drive the change management and communications strategy for the end-to-end implementation of a leading, well-known, and world-class HRIS and Payroll system across the Group. As a change leader, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful adoption and entrenchment of the system to modernise SRG’s HR and Payroll capabilities.
You will work closely with HR, Payroll, and Technology peers as well as key stakeholders across the business, to understand current processes, identify potential areas of impact, and design strategies to support SRG employees through the change. Importantly, you will measure the level of change adoption and create and implement multi-channel communication strategies to tailor messages to the level of adoption identified.
These hybrid, full-time, 12-month fixed-term contract opportunities will be based in the state-of-the-art Strathpine (Brisbane) or Rhodes (Sydney) offices when you’re not working from home and there is a good chance of permanency or extension.
Responsibilities include:
1. Develop Payroll and HRIM system-specific change management strategies to enable change readiness, adoption and deliver desired business benefit.
2. Design change tactics that suit the change context and risk profile.
3. Personalise the change experience for impacted personas through creating change journeys that facilitate a positive change experience.
4. Evaluate the organization’s current preparedness for the change by analysing existing capabilities, cultural factors, and potential areas of resistance.
5. Partner with process experts and SMEs to document the current state and outline the desired future state to clarify the gap and define the steps needed to achieve the change effectively.
6. Develop and execute on targeted communication and stakeholder engagement plans outlining objectives, key messages, and engagement strategies for each stakeholder group. This includes defining the frequency, channels, and timing of communications to ensure clarity and consistency.
7. Develop targeted messages that address the unique needs and expectations of each group and create a compelling narrative.
8. Assess the skills, knowledge, and capabilities employees will need in the new environment, identifying any gaps that training should address.
9. Work closely with the L&D team to design and deliver training content that is relevant, practical, and accessible.
