Position The Cancer Service is seeking a Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist responsible for specialist diagnosis, treatment and care for public hospital outpatients in the subspecialty of medical oncology. The successful candidate will receive several benefits, including a fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or a motor vehicle allowance of $25,758 per annum, a communication allowance, a Continuing Professional Development Allowance of $24,927 per annum, a North West Retention Allowance, a Private Patient Allowance, and an On-Call Allowance. Hospital A population of around 250,000 in Northern Tasmania is served by an integrated Cancer Service, which offers medical oncology, radiation oncology, and haematology services across three sites. Additionally, it has a clinical trials and research unit that conducts a range of phase 2 and 3 trials, as well as a rigorous MDT meeting program.
