About the role
As the Principal Social Worker at CALHN, you will provide vital leadership and supervision to a dedicated social work team, delivering exceptional services across the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre. Your role is central to our Single Service, Multiple Site model, ensuring that our team operates effectively and collaboratively. In addition to managing a clinical caseload, you will guide your team in providing evidence-based, responsive services that prioritise patient needs while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
You will play a key role in shaping clinical outcomes through effective workload management, supervision, and education. Your expertise will not only enhance the skills of your team but will also contribute to quality improvement initiatives and research projects that elevate the standard of care we provide. About You:
We are seeking a dynamic Principal Social Worker to lead our dedicated team across CALHN facilities. If you’re passionate about fostering collaboration and driving patient-centred care, we want to hear from you!
Qualifications: Hold a relevant Social Work degree and be a full member of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrate strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire both professional and non-professional staff in a collaborative environment.
Communication & Collaboration: Exhibit advanced written and verbal communication skills, fostering trust and effective relationships with staff, patients, and families.
Clinical Expertise: Bring substantial experience in social work, with the ability to manage complex situations and implement evidence-based practices effectively.
