You are a qualified engineer with extensive experience, ideally in an industrial or production environment.
You think strategically and thrive in complex, ambiguous situations.
Your strong influencing skills help you listen actively, adapt your approach, and foster collaborative, win-win outcomes.
With a proven track record of delivering results, you bring the analytical abilities necessary to tackle both technical and operational challenges.
You are confident in providing high-quality, commercially viable, and timely technical expertise.
You will also lead and contribute to engineering service delivery and solutions, while using your leadership skills to support and mentor technical officers and engineering graduates.
About the role: To put it simply… You will provide real time engineering services and contribute to the planning and delivery of maintenance and repairs of generation assets.
This will involve being able to readily respond to business needs to ensure assets are available to generate as needed to supply the NEM.
As a Electrical Engineer, you will be… ? Offering commercially and technically sound engineering advice to balance plant condition with commercial needs.
? Contributing to the development of lifecycle asset management strategies aimed at improving asset reliability.
? Providing engineering input to support plant condition assessments, using historical asset data, inspections, and investigations.
? Working across the state to gain a thorough understanding of our asset fleet and respond effectively when required.
? Ensuring projects and maintenance activities are properly engineered, resourced, and completed successfully.
? Engaging with on-site operational teams to gather and share critical insights about asset performance.
