Location: Deeside Area, double days Monday to Friday 7-3, 1-9
We are seeking a highly skilled electrical biased facilities engineer to support the Engineering Manager in overseeing our site and ensuring high standards are met.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
* Scheduling repairs, renovations projects, waste reduction improvements, and safety inspections for building and grounds maintenance.
* Planning, budgeting, and scheduling facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials, and other related costs.
* Overseeing services related to electric maintenance, mechanics, hydraulics, carpentry, and masonry, including substituting, changing, cleaning, repairing, and installing pieces, components, and equipment.
* Repairing, adjusting, and maintaining facilities, as well as performing electrical repairs of fixtures and equipment.
* Designing, planning, constructing, and maintaining equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities.
* Conducting periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
* Maintaining all equipment necessary to perform work.
Qualifications and Experience:
* A trade apprenticeship with at least 5 years of practical experience in the industry, maintenance, or installation background.
* Educated to GCSE Level standard or equivalent in Maths, English, and Science subjects.
* Qualification: O.N.C. or C & G Certificate, NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering.
* Proven ability in fault finding.
* Strong electrical/mechanical skills, electrically biased.
