Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Manager for the Projects Officer at Gippsland Health Alliance (GHA).
Gippsland Health Alliance is a consortium of all publicly funded health services in the Gippsland region.
We are committed to delivering high-quality and safe patient care through innovative projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
This position is on a full-time, fixed-term basis until the end of June 2026.
The GHA Program Manager (Projects Office) will manage, oversee, and report on the strategic and tactical outcomes of healthcare technology and infrastructure projects.
This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including vendors and regional partners, to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the Project Management Office Framework.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage, oversee, and report on healthcare technology and infrastructure projects.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Minimum Requirements:
A recognised qualification in Project Management.
Intermediate knowledge of Personal Computer software and Microsoft Office systems.
Ability to recruit, coordinate, and manage a team effectively.
Demonstrable ability to consistently deliver outcomes to a project plan or known timetable.
Experience in the implementation of large, complex technical or healthcare projects.
Prince2 Foundation and Practitioner certifications are desirable.
Experience in the Australian healthcare environment is desirable.
About you:
An undergraduate degree in communications, public relations, or a related field (essential).
Experience in a healthcare setting and knowledge of change management principles is desirable.
Proven experience in developing and implementing communication strategies.
Strong understanding of stakeholder engagement and exceptional communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
