The role This role is supporting the collection, distribution, and analysis of CH-47F Aircraft Usage Data and Mission Planning Software. You’ll provide Design Engineering services to develop and support the ongoing avionics and software activities for the platform and provide ongoing support to the engineering design activities. Due to the nature of this role, a strong background in Engineering Design who preferably holds an Engineering Certification to successfully support the program plan development, design, review and compliance for the current and future avionics and software modifications ongoing to the ADF CH-47F fleet. Responsibilities Deliver services for the CH-47F aircraft, focusing on data collection, distribution, and analysis, as well as mission planning software. Support all aspects of the CH-47F Health and Usage Monitoring System (CPHE). Support the CH-47F Mission Planning software (AMPS) and the Army Aviation Common Mission Management System (CMMS). Lead the establishment of a data usage and analysis capability and assist in developing business cases. Manage technical information, including registration, review, and actions related to Technical Airworthiness Alert Information (TAAI). Develop and review certification plans, establish certification basis, develop specifications and design plans, and conduct peer reviews. Perform system safety analysis, engineering evaluations, and manage modifications, deviations, and configuration audits. Manage minor avionics projects through to service release, including the redesign of Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI). Requirements NV1 security clearance. Appropriate Engineering qualification. Experience with Software and Network Integration and troubleshooting.
