You will work closely with the Technology and Product teams to develop and execute release plans, manage app store submissions and work with third party testing providers and reporting suites to ensure every release provides customers with a 6-star experience.You will need to drive and maintain a high attention to detail around all aspects of the app release process. Your ability to manage timelines, coordinate teams and proactively address release-related risks will be key to success in this role.Primary LocationThis role is currently open to all locations within Australia, however candidates based in Melbourne may be preferred.ResponsibilitiesManage the software release process to ensure consistent and successful releases of FE appsDevelop, communicate, and execute release plans in collaboration with stakeholdersOversee the app store submission process, ensuring compliance with platform requirementsCo-ordinate our third-party automated testing partner Mobot to optimise automated testing and ensure testing fidelityConsult with Product and Technology teams and develop low risk release plansDevelop, communicate, and manage the release lifecycle, including pre-release preparation and post-release analysis to the broader businessHandle app store submissions, ensuring accurate and timely updatesSubmit test cases to our third-party automated testing partnerTriage and analyse test results and release fidelity flags, working with teams to address any issuesPerform manual quality assurance of releases to verify quality and functionalityTrack and report on release KPIs to measure success and identify improvement areasEnsure compliance with app store/play store regulatory requirements related to software releasesSkills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in software release management, software delivery, or a related roleExcellent communication and coordination skillsExceptional attention to detail and a troubleshooting mindsetStrong understanding of the app store submission process (Apple App Store, Google Play Store)Experience working with automated testing toolsUnderstanding of software delivery methodologiesAbility to manage multiple releases in a fast-paced scale up environmentExperience using Jira and Confluence for tracking releases and reportingExperience with release tooling such as Github, Datadog, Grafana is preferred but not requiredUnderstanding of app store regulatory requirements related to software deploymentAre you a Dabbler?A Dabbler's attitude is paramount, as the right person will be able to learn quickly and adapt to any skill gaps.
