Primary School Teaching Assistant:
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a Primary School team in Leeds. The role will include supporting students, providing assistance in the classroom, and working closely with educators to enhance the learning experience for children.
Requirements:
1. Experience working within the education sector
2. Level 3 certificate in childcare
3. Strong communication skills to liaise with teachers, parents, and external professionals
4. Understanding of special education practices and strategies for working with diverse learning needs
Responsibilities:
1. Support teachers in delivering tailored educational activities for students with special needs
2. Assist in implementing individual education plans and monitoring progress
3. Provide one-to-one mentoring and tutoring for students requiring additional support
4. Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
5. Aid in managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and supportive setting for learning
