The role
Based in our Newcastle West Office, the role of the Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) Property Manager is to support the tenancies coordinated by Home in Place. This role would be well suited to candidates with residential real estate experience who are looking to transfer their skills to a new and rewarding environment. This role will be focused on process improvements and compliance in our tenancy and maintenance spaces.
This role will require travel (during working hours with expenses covered) across New South Wales.
What you will need to be successful:
* Proven experience in end-to-end residential Property Management
* Experience in managing compliance matters
* Experience in coordinating/assisting with maintenance processes
* Exceptional communication, problem solving and negotiation skills
* Experience working in a provider of disability accommodation or tenancy services or related discipline in NDIS sector (desirable)
* Ability to work flexible hours to suit the needs of the service and the people we support.
* Flexibility and mobility to undertake business travel as required (expenses covered by Home in Place)
* Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite in particular WORD, Excel and Outlook
* Unrestricted NSW driver's licence
* Report writing skills
* NDIS Worker's Screening Check (or ability to obtain)
