We are seeking an enthusiastic and friendly Part Time Receptionist to be part of a fast-paced environment and a welcoming face to our clients and their pets!
Our much-loved customer care team are the integral front-line of our entire hospital, and as such, are busy, busy, busy! The successful candidate will be critical in ensuring our clients receive outstanding customer service. You will be dedicated, conscientious, with a genuine love for animals and effective in your written and verbal communication with clients and other hospital staff.
About your role:
1. Permanent Part Time role - min. 28.5 hours per week
2. A range of shifts, 7am - 5pm, 8am - 6pm, 9am - 7pm, 11am - 9pm, 12pm - 10pm, including an occasional weekend
3. Handling a high volume of inbound calls and email enquiries
4. Managing all client inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy
5. Welcoming clients and their pets to the hospital
6. Booking and managing appointments
7. Invoicing and taking payments – including cash and EFTPOS
8. Processing payments on Vetpay, Zippay and Afterpay
9. Coordinating with other hospital departments to ensure seamless client experiences
10. Data entry and requesting documents from referring vets and clients
11. Liaising with referring vets
About you:
1. Proven experience in a client services role, preferably in a healthcare or veterinary setting
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
3. Adaptable and takes initiative; this role requires you to be able to multitask and have a proactive attitude
4. A calm and empathetic approach to your work
5. Enjoy working in an upbeat team environment with some good banter!
6. Passionate about delivering an outstanding customer experience
7. Excellent communication, organization and time management skills
