IM Solutions is a small business ($2M) located on the Space Coast of Florida just minutes from beautiful east coast beaches.REPORTS TO: Project ManagerPOSITION SUMMARYAn Electrician/Low Voltage Technician at IM Solutions is responsible for installing AV/IT projects with a focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in construction methodologies and electrical installation in commercial and residential projects. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a commitment to upholding our company's core values. Your electrical skills will be challenged as you are trained in new building communication technology of the future. This position offers growth opportunity with IM Solutions as a Lead Technician of AV/IT projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITES Manage electrical and low voltage projects and installationsCable management and documentationInstall building technology, specifically AV/IT systems, building automation controls, IT NetworksPerform inventory management of equipment and transport to jobsite in a safe and secure mannerProvide leadership assistance to other technicians as requiredMaintain a clean, safe and organized work environmentREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Minimum of 5 years experience installing and troubleshooting Electrical/Low Voltage Systems (Journeyman's License but not required)Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction methodology and commercial structured cabling.Systems knowledge and experience with Crestron controls, Audio DSP configuration, AVIT networking, CCTV CMS, VoIP and VTC Communication Systems.Knowledge of jobsite safety and OSHA regulationsStrong computer skills to manage project reportsA passion for technology and self-initiative towards continuing educationStrong work ethic and attention to detailAbility to interact with employees, customers and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner, both verbal and writtenAbility to work well independently and in team settingsProficiency in MIS tools such as ERP, BMS, CRM, and MS OfficeAdaptability to technology advancements and changing project requirementsPHYSICAL DEMANDS Ability to drive a company provided fleet vehicle.Ability to load and unload equipment weighing a minimum of 35 pounds.Be able to regularly climb, descend and work from ladders or lifts up to heights of 25 feet.Ability to work with a safety harness in bucket or boom lift.The physical demands of this position are those that are necessary to meet the responsibilities and essential functions of this position.
