Position Overview:We a looking for an experienced Supervisor to be a leader across our project sites by ensuring works are constructed in accordance with agreed productions, methodologies, timeframes and to the requirements of our high safety, quality and environmental standards.What you can expect in the role:
You'll supervise and lead the construction team onsite (including Leading hands, labourers, Machine operators & sub-contractors, to produce planned activities each day
You'll plan and allocate work, monitor progress, and take overall responsibility for ensuring project construction is carried out effectively
You'll lead Daily Pre-Start talks, highlighting tasks for the day, the hazards involved and control measures
You'll review the program lookahead with the project team to ensure everyone is aligned and heading towards the same milestones
You'll read and understand the requirements of design drawings and project specifications and manage construction on site in accordance
You'll help create and lead a positive and inclusive culture on site which promotes the reporting of Near Misses, Non-Conformances and Incidents / Accidents
You'll work closely with the Project Engineers to understand budget production rates, costs codes and budgeted crew sizes
You'll Complete a detailed daily diary
You'll provide advice and recommendations to the Project Manager for improvements to company systems, processes, methods of construction or anything that improve production or add value to the business or project
About you:
You have experience in a similar role (Construction Foreman / Site Supervisor / leading hand / Site Manager or similar)
You have experience building roads, and earthworks projects
You like to use your expertise & innovation to deliver work that you and the team are proud of
You enjoy helping your team find the best solutions to deliver complex projects
You have attention to detail and passionate about maintaining a neat and tidy job site
