Technical Account Manager

Purpose of the position:
The purpose of this position is to develop and nurture strong client relationships whilst completing administrative duties, as required. Additionally, in this role you will be responsible for managing client accounts, providing support, and coordinating tasks to enhance client satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Experience required:
* Previous experience in an Account Management role.
* Previous experience within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
Role requirements:
* A valid Australian Driver’s Licence.
* A reliable motor vehicle.
Attributes and Knowledge:
* A good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Technical Account Management:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring their IT needs are met and exceeded.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business objectives and aligning our services to meet those goals.
* Work with our team to provide technical guidance and support to our clients, triaging issues and coordinating with internal teams to resolve problems.
* Conduct regular account reviews with clients to assess their IT environment, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend solutions.
* Manage timelines for client projects, including planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
* Escalate any client feedback or concerns to the Managing Director.
Administrative Duties:
* Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, both internally and with clients.
* Prepare and maintain documentation and training, including but not limited to client reports, project plans, and service agreements.
* Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, internal reports, and managing correspondence.
* Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing proposals and tracking sales activities.
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and service requests in our CRM system.
* Manage inbound and outbound communications to both clients and vendors via email, phone and in-person.
* Other ad hoc duties as required.
