Salary: $72,651 to $99,129 pa (pro rata) - RN/M1 Temporary Part time (up to 30 June 2025)
We are seeking a passionate and experienced nurse with a strong background in acute cardiovascular care to support regional patients who have experienced cardiac events, such as myocardial infarction (MI), revascularization procedures, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), heart valve surgery, arrhythmia management, and more.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to patients in our Cardiac Telehealth Rehabilitation Program, ensuring they receive the highest standard of service.
You will offer expert, patient-centred acute cardiac advice, and secondary prevention to patients throughout regional and rural South Australia.
As part of a small, dedicated team, you will collaborate closely to achieve these critical goals:
* Reducing emergency department presentations and hospital admissions for clients with cardiac disease.
* Helping vulnerable populations effectively access and utilize health services.
* Decreasing the length of stay for cardiac patients admitted to South Australia's regional hospitals.
* Improving regional patients' access to health services.
The ideal candidate will possess:
* Current cardiovascular experience.
* Knowledge of the cardiac rehabilitation model of care within South Australia's regional Local Health Networks.
* Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and eligible for a current practicing certificate.
