About the Role
As a Risk, Safety and Quality Officer, you will work alongside the Risk, Safety and Quality Manager to support clinical governance systems and ensure compliance with National Safety and Quality in Health Service (NSQHS) Standards.
Main Responsibilities:
* Support hospital-wide quality improvement program for integrated patient safety, quality improvement, and risk management.
* Actively participate in risk identification and management within the hospital.
* Deliver education and engage staff on NSQHS Standards.
* Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities.
* Lead internal investigations and audits.
* Provide administration and coordination support for controlled documents.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency as a Nurse and/or Midwife.
* Understanding of NSQHS Standards.
* Skills in investigation and report writing.
* High level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
