About the Role
We are currently looking for a Tutor Sonographer to join our team and help lead our Sonographer development program across Tasmania. Based in Hobart, the role will play a key part in Radiology Tasmania's vision to become the diagnostic medical imaging specialists of choice across the state.
The role provides clinical teaching, oversight, and leadership for our ultrasound trainees. The position will provide a unique opportunity to shape and develop the next generation of sonographers, establishing Radiology Tasmania as a destination workplace. Working with the current ultrasound leadership team to develop an inviting teaching environment with high standards.
Well-developed teaching skills and leadership will be required in the mentoring of students from initial to final stages of scanning. The position will involve limited scanning with a predominantly supervisory role over multiple students. The position has the ability to be a hybrid position of both supervisory and scanning if interested.

You Will Have
ASAR registration
A minimum of 4 years experience as a general sonographer
Thorough knowledge of scanning techniques and anatomy
Experience mentoring, tutoring, or teaching students
A commitment to provide high quality imaging and continued professional development
Current BLS/CPR or ability to gain prior to commencement
