About the Role: As an Accounts Administrator / Payroll Officer, you'll play an essential role in ensuring smooth financial operations within our client's company. The majority of your responsibilities will focus on payroll processing, but you'll also handle a range of other accounting and administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Administration: Process accurate payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with EBA pay rates and relevant awards. Accounts Payable: Manage and process incoming invoices and payments. Invoicing: Prepare and issue invoices to clients, ensuring timely and accurate billing. Claims Management: Handle claims as required, ensuring that all relevant documentation is in order. Purchasing Supplies: Oversee the purchasing of office and operational supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness. Confidentiality: Handle highly confidential financial information with the utmost discretion and professionalism. Communication: Manage phone calls, take messages, and communicate effectively with staff, clients, and suppliers. Employment Letters: Create and issue letters of employment for new hires and other related requests. General Administration: Support the finance team with any other administrative tasks as needed. Key Attributes & Qualifications: Experience: Prior experience in an administrative, payroll, or accounts role is highly desirable. Attention to Detail: You must have a strong focus on accuracy and an ability to spot discrepancies quickly. Confidentiality: You will be trusted with sensitive information, so a high level of integrity and discretion is essential.
