Programmed are currently seeking freight handlers for a national client based in Molendinar QLD. Our client is an international courier company looking for reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join their high-volume team.
The Role:
* Day and afternoon shifts available
* Parcels range from 1kg to 15kgs
* Fast paced environment - constantly on your feet
* Manually sorting, loading and unloading loose freight (repetitive)
* Using marketing tools / labelling containers
* Measuring, weighing, and recording products and materials
* Pre-Employment medical and national police check conducted prior to commencement
What we are looking for:
* Safety conscious attitude
* Great attention to detail
* Current and valid driver's license and reliable transport
* Current and valid forklift license is highly beneficial
* Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
* Previous experience within a warehouse or freight industry
* Willingness to complete a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing and national police check prior to commencing on site.
* Forklift Licence (not essential)
