About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mental Health Clinician to lead our team in delivering positive recovery-orientated supports to young people with complex mental health challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead delivery of high quality services and facilitate positive educational and social experiences.
* Support trauma informed assessment, formulation and delivery of plan with young people to support their return to their community and enjoy a meaningful life through a strength-focused, staged approach to recovery.
* Coach and mentor effective practice to multidisciplinary team of staff working with young people, provide support to families and carers, and plan and deliver group work.
* Guide a high performing team by engaging staff, setting clear direction and performance expectations.
* Manage the day-to-day operations including planning budget expenditure and delivery of agreed service performance targets.

Requirements
* Tertiary degree qualifications in Mental Health, Social Work, Allied Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or other health related field as designated by Mind.
* Proven experience in Youth Work, Community Services, Mental Health, Disability, Social Welfare, Housing or Healthcare or Government sectors is required.
* Expertise working with young people with mental health issues, highly complex needs and emotional/behavioural difficulties, and interacting with families and carers.
* Significant experience in implementing therapeutic, recovery-oriented frameworks and practices including risk mitigation, trauma informed care and family inclusive practice.
