THE ROLE
Reporting to the Product Support Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in running the day to day operations of this regional branch. You will have two direct reports and be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the branch, including the Workshop and Parts Department. Your main objective will be to drive business growth, maintain operational efficiency, and ensure the highest level of customer service.
The Branch aim is to meet the specific product support needs of customers in the following markets:
1. Construction industries
2. Resource Industries
3. Energy and Transport
Overall Objective of the Role:
4. Lead, direct and manage product support operations activities for the Branch by implementing agreed plans in order to maximise customer satisfaction and ensure the achievement of agreed parts and service sales and profit objectives.
5. Assure customer satisfaction and value for money when machines are serviced.
6. Maintain a cohesive working relationship between the group and all other departments.
7. Meet/exceed budget expectations.
8. Maintain the company's standard of machine repairs and maintenance
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
9. 3-5 years Supervisory/Management Experience
10. Heavy Equipment/Construction Equipment or similar industry experience (an advantage)
11. Strong leadership skills
12. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13. Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Lotus Notes, Word, Excel, Powerpoint etcc)
14. Ability to handle a number of tasks simultaneously
15. Excellent time management
16. Highly detailed conscious
17. Analytical approach
18. Strong mechanical ability (an advantage eg Trade qualification)
19. Experienced in financial reporting
20. Proven planning and organising ability
