Our Harrison Ward is a 30 bed General Medical/Surgical ward which specialises in long term wound care, renal care, endocrine and pain management and general medical care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that our patients and their families receive holistic care during their hospital journey.You will be working within a long standing and close-knit team to provide quality care to patients. You will be supported by a strong operating team, who will help you settle into your new role with on the floor training and a team mentor. Your NUM has an open-door policy, is approachable, proactive and values open two-way communication.Who we're looking for You'll have current AHPRA registration as an RN with at least 2 years post registration experienceYou'll come from a background with surgical experience (desirable) or medical background with a strong drive to learn and grow your skills.You'll have demonstrated elevated level of empathy and strong emotional intelligence.You'll be an exceptional communicator (both verbally and written) with demonstrated experience professionally communicating with patients, their families and colleagues.You'll have the flexibility to work a rotating roster of 8 hour shiftsYou'll have full Australian working rightsAbout Us Adventist HealthCare owns and operates San Day Surgery, Hornsby, and the Sydney Adventist Hospital (fondly known as the San).
