As National Key Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in establishing and leading the organisation’s national strategic account function across ANZ’s hospital and South Pacific’s export market.
Through superior stakeholder and customer management, managing ongoing contracts and tenders, you will provide insight and drive the organisation’s commercial direction to ensure supply chain is managed effectively.
Also, you will utilise your networks with the likes of Director of Pharmacies to understand the fast-changing landscape for affordable specialty products and build relationships with these stakeholders to gain commercial advantage.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and support a holistic national strategic account plan, complete with well-defined KPIs and revenue projections across designated accounts
2. Contribute to the composition of tender submissions, playing an active role in the preparation process
3. Gain a comprehensive understanding of the access landscape, spanning across various regions and accounts
4. Engage in constructive negotiations with external stakeholders to drive mutually beneficial outcomes
5. Build upon your relationships with key stakeholders including Directors of Pharmacy to capitalise on commercial opportunities
6. Proactively anticipate challenges, identify obstacles, and rally internal resources to preserve and expand the organisation’s product portfolio
Skills and Experience Required
7. Significant experience in a National / Strategic Account focused role within ANZ's pharmaceutical / generic sector
8. Design, Management and Implementation of Healthcare Corporate Tenders and Contracts with ability to gain approval for pricing decisions
9. Strong track record of building relationships with key stakeholders at National, State and Tertiary Hospital level
10. Proven experience in navigating changes to payer pathways and adapting strategic plans to accommodate these changes
11. Exceptional influencing, negotiating and stakeholder engagement capabilities
12. Flexible to travel and accommodate meetings at different time zones
13. Tertiary education: Science or pharmacy, ideal. An MBA is desirable but not essential
