(St John NT) is the Territory's leading provider in emergency medical response and preparedness.We have a mission to save lives and build community resilience to improve the safety and healthcare for all Territorians.We do this by providing a range of services from ambulance services under contract to the Northern Territory Government, coordination of emergency medical responses, event health services and first aid assistance at community and major events through to nationally accredited first aid training, community education and first aid products and equipment.We are now seeking to appoint a Mental Health & Wellbeing Manager.This is a newly created role designed to effectively lead and support the business in promoting mental health and wellbeing through proactive and modernised approaches.Reporting directly to the Director People and Culture, the Mental Health and Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for delivering St John NT's well-being and support services across the NT.This position will lead mental health and wellbeing initiatives, team member engagement activities, education, and post-incident management processes.This role will foster a supportive culture through resource distribution, dedicated spaces for reflection, and integrated communication channels.This position is critical in ensuring that all staff are provided ongoing training and support to perform their positions in managing their own mental health and wellbeing.This role will play a large role in delivering on strategic objectives set by the organisation within the Mental Health & Wellbeing space of which this role will be a key contributor to the strategy in conjunction with the Director, People & Culture.This role will also be instrumental in delivering on initiatives generated from strategic planning.The Mental Health & Wellbeing Manager will also review our support services and ensure that what we have as an organisation is fit for purpose.By doing so, this will ensure that the organisation is equipped to deal with organisational change and external challenges as they arise.Regular travel to regional locations to promote mental health initiatives and provide support to our regional team members will be a key part of this position.About YouTo be successful in this role you will possess:Relevant tertiary qualifications (or post graduate) which may include psychology, HR or social servicesDemonstrated experience within the industry or similarDemonstrated people management and leadership experience at a manager levelThe BenefitsA competitive salary commencing at $125,000 plus superannuation11.5% SuperannuationMaximise your take home pay with Not-for-Profit salary packaging benefits through CBBIf you would like to be part of an organisation that plays a pivotal role in providing critical care to our community and be part of an inclusive team environment, then we would love to hear from you!#J-18808-Ljbffr
