Are you a skilled Modern Workplace Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? We're seeking a proactive individual to join a dynamic team at a key organization. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape and support a robust desktop/mobile and Standard Operating Environment (SOE), ensuring optimal performance, security, and user satisfaction in a challenging and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Infrastructure & SOE Management:
Manage, maintain, and operate the Microsoft 365 environment. Handle the full lifecycle of SOE creation, maintenance, and deployment, including Windows updates and security.
* Endpoint Computing:
Lead endpoint management solutions using tools like SCCM, Intune, Autopilot, and MECM. Ensure devices align with security baselines and compliance standards (Essential Eight methodology).
* Device Lifecycle Management:
Oversee asset lifecycle processes for endpoint devices, peripherals, and mobile devices. Collaborate on licensing management and application portfolio strategies.
* Systems & Security:
Implement advanced security protocols, domain patching, compliance, group policy administration, and PowerShell scripting for management.
* User Support & Documentation:
Develop "as-built" documentation, knowledge libraries, and processes to enhance the end-user experience. Deliver metrics and reporting, resolve incidents, and provide training sessions as needed.
* Collaboration & Innovation:
Work closely with project teams to provide implementation support and continually improve the Modern Workplace environment.
Key Skill Set & Experience:
To succeed in this role, candidates must demonstrate:
* Technical Expertise:
Strong experience with SCCM, SOE/MOE security baselines, M365 Suite apps, Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Teams, and Azure AD.
* Security Compliance:
Exposure to Essential Eight guidelines and implementation.
* Packaged Solutions:
Advanced application packaging capabilities with version control and security audits.
* Leadership & Collaboration:
Project engagement exposure and a proven ability to train and guide team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
* A tertiary qualification in Information Systems or equivalent industry experience.
* Relevant certifications (Microsoft, ITIL) are highly regarded.
