The Role The People & Culture (P&C) Graduate / Coordinator plays a key role at NBH, ensuring the P&C function provides effective and efficient recruitment, advisory, and employee engagement services. Working closely with recruitment and business partnering, the role delivers a range of administrative, process, and coordination support that enables an engaging NBH employee experience.
A developmental role, this opportunity presents a graduate pathway to contribute significant value to the operations of P&C and NBH, whilst expanding P&C / HR skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
Key responsibilities: Recruitment & Onboarding Managing new hire documentation, contracts, and compliance requirements Supporting onboarding processes, including inductions and orientation programs Work with hiring managers to ensure new starters have appropriate IT / Systems / Uniform set-up P&C Administration, Reporting & Support Providing first-line P&C support for employee enquiries, processes, and concerns Managing employment-related administrative processes, ensuring requests are closed out in a timely fashion, and employee records are compliant, up-to-date, and confidentially maintained Coordinating sponsorship and immigration administrative activities for new / current employees Supporting policy / procedure development and compliance Building and maintaining a suite of P&C Reports that track progress and trends Employee Engagement & Culture Coordinating engagement initiatives such as employee recognition and wellness activities Supporting the planning and delivery of key events including celebrations and new initiatives Identifying opportunities to improve the employee experience and develop action plans Criteria Evidenced success working in a team environment, where strong organisational, communication, and teamworking skills were essential Experience handling data entry, document management, and reporting (with strong excel / spreadsheet functionality skills highly desirable) Experience and/or strong knowledge of employment law, workplace policies, and engagement Evidenced success building strong working relationships with a broad range of stakeholders Clinical / technical industry experience an advantage (but not essential) Degree qualified in Business Management, Psychology, or Human Resources (or equivalent) Interest in Change Management and/or Behavioural Economics highly desirable Employee Benefits Our OneHealthscope rewards program gives you access to a range of wellness benefits, discounted Healthscope services for you and your family, salary packaging and more, as well as discounted onsite parking at Northern Beaches Hospital and access to Fitness Passport!
