Where the team fits in
In this role, you'll be a pivotal leader guiding our Media & Developer teams to design, build, and optimise high-performing, scalable advertising products for the property and related industries. You'll manage both commercial and strategic objectives of our programmatic and audience-based advertising products across Media & Developer, building world-class customer and consumer products. Our Media team takes care of all of our on and off-site Media products, helping customers connect with our high intent audience. Our Developer team creates digital advertising products helping customers connect with buyers looking to buy or build a new home - Apartments, House and Land, Townhouses, Retirement villages.
You are a driven and vibrant leader with an appreciation for developing and growing great teams, a passion for business, customers, and building exceptional products. You understand the importance of cross-functional collaboration and are comfortable navigating various contexts in a dynamic environment. Your expertise in digital product strategy, and media, combined with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills, will drive the success of our advertising initiatives.
What the role is all about
Driving portfolio growth and solving key customer and industry problems with creative product and technology solutions
Integrate the Media and Developer portfolio with other key areas within the organisation, balancing portfolio needs with other markets like Residential and Consumer experiences
Drive growth outcomes for REA in terms of customer acquisition, retention, revenue, and yield
Build strategic partnerships between a range of internal and external stakeholders, evaluating partnership and acquisition opportunities
Develop and coach a team of product and technology professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and development
Develop and execute product strategy over a portfolio of web, app, and API-based products, both short- and long-term
Shape and influence stakeholder goals and supporting capabilities (customer service, marketing, GTM) toward the successful uptake of products and experiences
Who we’re looking for
Someone with a few runs on the board – extensive experience within in a Media or Advertising environment
Experience in Product Management / Product Development or equivalent
Strong people leadership and coaching experience
Comfortable managing large, complex programs of work
Demonstrated experience navigating complex stakeholder environments
A powerful communicator and proven ability to influence senior stakeholders
Experience in the developer or property segment is a plus
