The Company This business has a rapidly growing team that is pioneering the development of autonomous farming technology. Their mission is to revolutionise farming around the world by introducing new farming practices that are enabled by robotic technology. They are a venture backed company with global ambition and are proudly based in regional Australia with deep connection to their farmer customers. Their robots are already working on grain, cotton, horticulture and turf farms and are one of the first companies worldwide to successfully deliver commercial, autonomous robots to farming customers. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Team Management•Lead and mentor the Customer Support, Field Service, and Field Delivery teams. This responsibility involves setting performance targets, executing strategies defined by the senior leadership team, and promoting a positive and collaborative work environment. Process Development and Improvement•Develop and implement processes and strategies to deliver best-in-class customer services. This includes creating processes for implementing field support and service in new locations, including international markets. The Operations Manager will continuously evaluate and improve existing processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction. Financial Performance and Budgeting•Oversee the financial performance of the Customer Support, Field Service, and Field Delivery Departments. This responsibility includes budgeting, forecasting, and cost management to ensure that the operations are profitable and align with the financial goals of the organisation. Risk Management and Issue Resolution•Identify and assess potential risks to the operations and implement strategies to mitigate those risks effectively. Work with the senior management team to address any operational issues and implement solutions to improve overall performance. About you Skills and experience / technical competency •Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.•At least 5 years of experience in an operations management role.•Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading teams to achieve results.•Proven experience in developing and implementing processes and procedures to improve operational efficiency.•Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.•Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address operational issues and implement solutions•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation Please call Dan Kery, BEng, on 0406 537 706 to discuss this role.
