Current endorsement by Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Nurse Practitioner with extensive post registration experience or willingness to enrol in postgraduate studies leading to endorsement as Nurse Practitioner.Extensive advanced practice experience and/or tertiary or post qualifications in rural and remote care including experience in Chronic & Complex Care management and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients and their families.Demonstrated advanced skills in assessment, treatment and management of all aspects of rural and remote care inclusive of Chronic & Complex Care management.Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage and collaborate with managers and members of the multidisciplinary team and key stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to consult and refer patients appropriately across acute inpatient, outpatient and community settings.Demonstrated ability to work as an autonomous practitioner.Demonstrated ability to influence positive organisational change in particular concerning quality, safety, evidence based practice and innovation.Unrestricted NSW Health Driver's License.Applications Close: 04 December 2024 At Far West Local Health District we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer, where we don't just accept differences, but we honour and support it.
