A bit about the job:

This will include using your technical motor expertise to identify opportunities across Motor Repairers, Engineers, and Total Loss settlement teams. The role will be required to identify the development needs of the individual being assessed (often experts in their own right) and apply the appropriate coaching, training, best practice sharing and action planning to motivate them to embed sustainable improvements on all future claims that they manage. In turn, this will ensure ever improving alignment of performance to Aviva standards and requirements.
The role will also provide assurance and context to senior management, to enable more holistic change to be made.
The scope of the role will require technical motor knowledge across standard, prestige and commercial vehicles. The role will be required to prevent unsatisfactory (safety & quality) repairs from being carried out or released and the re-negotiation of the appropriate costs to balance the fairness to all parties involved.
As part of a team of 6 experts, you will share responsibility for the technical oversight and influence on around 200,000 customers claims with a spend in excess of £0.5bn.
