An award-winning, dynamic Construction company is seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their growing Finance team. Projects focus within the high-end residential and commercial space, valued between $10M - $60M.

About the role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and supported by an Assistant Accountant, Financial Accountant and Accounts Payable Officer. You will be responsible for all management reporting across the company.
Manage cash flow, ensure financial viability of projects, consult on budgets and forecasts, and prepare management reports. You will be switched on, organised and business-minded with experience in a similar role.
Duties
* Prepare and report monthly financial results in strict accordance with Company deadlines
* Ensure job costing is completed and reported by end of the month
* Ensure approved capital expenditure budgets are adhered to
* Ensure any variations to budgets and forecasts are explained in management reports, including any future / potential exposures to the organisation
* Ensure that end of year statutory accounts report is finalised and presented for review
* Track and review expenditures against set budgets by providing budget inconsistencies reports
* Ensure that hire purchase and leased activities are accounted for
* Ensure the fixed assets register is managed and maintained
* Other general business and finance admin tasks as required
Skill & Experience
* 2-3 years as a Management Accountant, ideally within a medium size Commercial Construction business
* High-level attention to detail and organisation skills
* Proficient in MYOB and Cheops
