In this role, you will guide a team of dedicated caseworkers, working closely with families, foster carers, and key stakeholders to ensure children are restored to their families or placed in stable kinship arrangements. You'll provide critical support to vulnerable children and young people, using your expertise in case management, family assessments, and trauma-informed care to help them thrive.
You will be instrumental in leading culturally inclusive practices, especially for Aboriginal families, and facilitating crucial decision-making processes like Family Group Conferencing. Your leadership will ensure the best outcomes for children exiting the statutory care system.
