We have experienced great success with stability and are recruiting for an accountant and assistant accountant to take on key roles in reporting to both Senior Tax Accountants and Managers, you will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for an SME and large corporate client base. You will also be exposed to various taxation issues and have the opportunity to interact with clients. The main responsibilities of the roles will be:Management of client relationships;Liaising with clients, and external revenue authorities including ATO to ensure clients' tax affairs are proactively dealt with;Annual Tax Compliance - Assist with the accurate and timely preparation of tax returns for individuals, trusts, companies, and SMSF and Financial Statements;Preparation of IAS/BAS, advice on GST and Income Tax compliance matters;Establish Entities, preparation of the application, plus ABN, TFN, GST/PAYGW Registrations;Build relationships with clients to ensure our suite of services is actively utilised by our clients. Tax work is our platform for discussion for clients reaching their broader financial outcomes;Engaging with clients and prospects to provide strategic taxation advice with the assistance of seniors;Work with Senior Advisers to help build comprehensive tax strategies;Business development and administration;Hard-working and Ad-hoc responsibilities as required; Minimum requirement of application:A 'client first' mentality;Advanced Excel skills;Bookkeeping skills with more than 5 years of experience will be preferred;Outstanding motivation to ensure clients are delighted with our service;Polished communication and organisational skills;Fluent in English and Chinese speaking;Tax Accountant role - Suitable candidates will have previous professional practice experience gained within an Australian taxation environment;Assistant Accountant role – Major in accounting, prior accounting experience will be given priority;Familiar with tax issues for individuals, partnerships, companies, and trusts;Must be passionate about your career and tax and genuinely see a long-term future within private and business clients.
