Job Reference: JN -022025-62171_1741344206My client is a manufacturing firm based in Merseyside who are experts in the development and production of carbon-ceramic materials.They are looking to expand their business by adding a skilled Maintenance Technician to their team.What you'll be doing as their Maintenance Technician:Perform planned maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery & facilities in accordance to their maintenance schedules.Be the 1st responder to equipment & machinery breakdowns forming a crucial part of the escalation policy.Carry out repair, replacement & refurbishment of various parts, components & systems.Support the installation, relocation & modification of equipment & machinery as required.Awareness of continuous improvement opportunities through maintenance activity & communicate potential improvements.Ensure accurate records of maintenance activity including DT Reports, Work Orders & Stores Inventory.Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with relevant safety and regulatory standards.Uphold 5s standards through all maintenance work areas.Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize operational disruption.Need to have:A relevant vocational qualification NVQ, ONC, C&G with an appropriate apprenticeship.Minimum 1 year's experience post-apprenticeship within a Maintenance environment.Candidates without qualifications but who can demonstrate relevant industrial knowledge and experience will be considered.What they'll give you in return:25 Days Annual Leave + Bank holidays.Extra day Annual Leave for your birthday.Company uniform.A confidential employee counselling service.Jobs are promoted internally providing job transfer opportunities.4 days on, 4 off, 4 days on, 4 off (6am-6pm).4 nights on, 4 off, 4 nights on, 4 off (6pm-6am).About Us:We are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive community.
