Rosebery is an underground polymetallic base metal mine located in the township of Rosebery in Tasmania, Australia and is 100% owned by MMG Limited.
With continuous production since 1936, Rosebery mine has current potential to extend life beyond 2028.

Occupational Health Nurse We currently have a great career opportunity available for an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Safety & Health team at MMG Rosebery.
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator - Health & Injury Management, this role is responsible for health and occupational hygiene activities at the Rosebery Mine site.
You will be responsible for providing injury management including return to work processes and the implementation of the occupational health programme.
This is a permanent residential position working a 7/7 day shift roster, requiring you to be on-call during your scheduled shifts.
Key Accountabilities Lead and facilitate a safety culture that fosters continual improvement of systems and contributes to an injury-free workplace.
High level assessment and treatment of both work-related and non-work-related medical presentations.
Accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and administration.
Efficient and effective procedure development, tools, and templates.
Alcohol and drug testing & carrying out hydration testing on a regular basis.
Health and medical coaching to the Emergency Services Officers and the Emergency Response Team.
Training the Emergency Response Team in emergency medical disciplines.
Workplace rehabilitation and injury management, ensuring injuries are managed in a manner which is consistent with MMG requirements.
Coordinate return to work activities including planning, implementation, and review of return to work programs.
Lead implementation of site Occupational Hygiene Monitoring and Health Surveillance Plans.
Advise employees who undergo health monitoring of the results/outcomes in a timely fashion.
Maintain high levels of confidentiality and record management.
Maintenance of medical service equipment and the medical facilities to a high standard.
Maintaining stores and administering drugs in compliance with the statutory requirements.
Professional communication with external Medical Practitioners.
Professional, calm approach to the management of and response to emergency medical incidents.
Qualifications & Competencies To be successful in the position we ideally require: Registered Nurse qualifications with current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.
Qualification in Occupational Hygiene.
Extensive experience in a similar role within a remote mining operation.
Ability to communicate with employees and contractors at all levels.
Demonstrate a high level of stakeholder management skills.
