This position offers the chance to make a significant impact on the regulatory approval processes that ensure the safety of medicines available to the Australian public. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Program.Develop and maintain detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.Manage the program scope and monitor progress against key activities, proactively resolving issues and ensuring timely delivery.Report on program status to senior executives, including the Minister and the Secretary.Prepare a variety of written work such as briefs, policy papers, and communication materials.Take responsibility for the team's outcomes, providing guidance and support to ensure quality results.Lead and motivate the program team, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.Build and sustain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Foster a positive and productive work environment and support the ongoing development of team members.Mandatory RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate:Ability to lead teams, making informed decisions in a complex and evolving environment.Proven experience in managing programs or projects from inception to completion with a track record of successful delivery.Strong experience in engaging with a diverse range of stakeholders and building productive relationships.Ability to write clearly and concisely about complex matters and to communicate effectively with senior leaders and various audiences.Capability to prioritise tasks and remain effective under pressure while managing competing demands.Desirable QualificationsA Baseline security clearance is highly regarded, though not essential.Experience in regulatory environments.Knowledge of health technology assessment or the ability to quickly learn.Experience leading complex programs in regulatory or health-related settings.Why Apply?If you have a strong background in program management and want to make a difference in the healthcare sector, this role could be your next career move.
