The focus of this rewarding role is to support the continuing evolution of the NEX Building Group brands (including McDonald Jones Homes) award winning home designs. More specifically, you will :Accurately model new house designs in ArchiCAD,Produce detailed documentation for use by our internal departments,Employ critical analysis to improve the quality of design and documentation,Liaise with the designers as required, for the effective and efficient development of products,Maintain the existing library of ArchiCAD modules and master plans across the Group,Maintain knowledge of relevant building codes for compliance with Australian Standards and the National Construction Code (NCC) of Australia.About youYou will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values. In addition, you will demonstrate :Minimum educational qualification in Diploma of Building Design or equivalentStrong knowledge of construction processes and downstream impacts of design modificationsMinimum 2 years’ Architectural Drafting experience within the residential home design sectorAbility to work collaboratively within a team environmentEffective time management skills and the ability to work under pressurePrevious ArchiCAD experience preferred but not essentialInterested?The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening and depending on the inherent requirements of the role, may involve the completion of a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.
