Tablets, hard capsules and powdered products are produced in our state of the art, TGA compliant facility in Keysborough.Our uniquely flexible and purpose-built facilities utilise the latest blending, granulating and packaging technologies, allowing us to maintain the fastest project completion times in the industry.Job DescriptionAbout this opportunityAs Manufacturing Manager, you will ensure that manufacturing and packaging are performed in accordance with the Quality Management System as well as supporting the Production Manager as required. This will also include ensuring the safe operation of the plant with a focus on producing quality products to our customers' specifications.Your key responsibilities will be to:Ensure that all products are produced and stored safely, correctly and with focus on quality for our customers.Maintain documentation pertaining to required quality.Ensure the implementation and direction relating to production operations.Ensure that all production records are evaluated and signed by an authorised person before they are sent to the Quality Control Department.Monitor maintenance activities.Ensure validations are complete and correct.Support and promote training.Operate the plant facility in compliance with all safety, quality and environmental standards as directed by Company policies, state and federal regulations.Develop and promote a culture of safety first.Ensure that the plant is operated in full compliance with all regulatory requirements.Set responsibilities, goals, and objectives for all production staff.Ensure through process studies that all production systems are operating at optimum levels and efficiencies.Develop production plans and implement accordingly.Develop procedures that maintain compliance with all purchasing procedures and manage all production contractors while monitoring costs.Work closely with the Quality department to ensure Quality Standards are met.Raise or complete deviation investigation reports, CAPA and Change Control forms where relevant.Assist on completing risk assessments.Your skills and experienceTo be successful in this role, you’ll have:A Production Planning background, ideally gained within a FMCG or Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.Strong ability to question the status quo and challenge the business positively.Advanced SAP and Excel experience.An ability to understand and analyse data to develop trends and set direction for the business.A formal qualification in a Manufacturing related discipline.Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.Seniority levelNot ApplicableEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionGeneral BusinessIndustries: Packaging and Containers Manufacturing
