Permanent, full time position in our Profit Protection team Great opportunity leading our Retail Loss Analytics team Flexible hybrid working model – mix of our Support Office and work from home. Can be based in either Docklands (VIC) or Roselands (NSW) Myer is looking for a Retail Crime Manager to bring a clear focus to all criminality that occurs across the Myer business. You will be working on objectives to displace criminality by using internal resources, engaging external partners and influencing police and other agencies. About the role: Provide leadership to Retail Loss Analytics Team and direct reports to successfully achieve Retail Loss objectives Build and deliver the ORC (Organised Retail Crime) program to ensure Myer is effectively protected from this elevated threat of criminal behaviour Minimise the business’s exposure to internal fraud risks by coaching the developing the Retail Loss Analytics Team Lead on tactics designed to reduce risk of internal fraud. Lead and Deliver key Retail Loss strategic initiatives that reduces the overall impact of criminal activity Manage the investigations team to deliver targeted investigations that focuses on criminality Management of key vendor relationships. Ensure spend is to budget and contractual compliance is delivered. Engage and influence external stakeholders such as police, centre security and investigation partners to deliver the best possible outcome for the business Effectively engage internal stakeholders to drive awareness of criminal activity across the business and ensure the appropriate departments are involved in Retail Loss initiatives to minimise criminal activity Drive procedural compliance across the remit with a particular focus on procedures relating to surveillance and privacy About you: 5 experience similar region-based Loss Prevention leadership role, with proven success. Experience managing organised retail crime Strong understanding of ecommerce fraud and mitigation strategies Experience managing POS exception reporting platforms The ability to influence is critical Excellent communication skills and ability to nurture relationships with key stakeholders Exceptional coaching capability Capacity to understand financial reporting Sound knowledge of state specific legislation relevant to all matter pertaining to Loss Prevention. I.e.
