We are part of our community and provide a diverse suite of services, from tailored home care to our state-of-the-art purpose-built dementia care village.We currently have vacancies in our catering team for enthusiastic and experienced catering staff.The Catering Assistant is responsible for daily meal service to our residents and for maintaining general cleaning requirements in the kitchen and dining areas and strict adherence to all food safety standards and guidelines. This role is key to the dining experience of our residents and the ability to engage with older people is essential. The Catering Assistant may be required to assist with deliveries between sites and drive the Glenview vehicle as directed by the Hospitality Manager.Key Responsibilities:A genuine desire to make difference in the lives of older Australians.Demonstrated understanding of food safety requirements in the aged care setting.Demonstrated understanding of IDDSI Framework for food and fluid textures and thickness.Essential Criteria:Satisfactory National Police Check valid within 12 months.Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration (NDIS Endorsed).Eligibility to work in Australia.Full Australian Driver's License.For further information, please contact the People & Culture Team via email to people-culture@glenview.org.au.
