Position requirements This is a critical 'hands-on' role within our organisation and fundamental to our ongoing success. We are seeking an enthusiastic Supply Chain Analyst who loves utilising their proven industry experience in forecasting and optimising inventory. You will be joining an exceptional team, have an eagerness to learn, be a critical thinker and natural problem-solver, and be an effective team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
Key responsibilities in the position will include: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the demand & inventory planning process Contribute to the development and improvement of analytics, systems, and data management capabilities, including metrics and reporting New SKU setup, stock reconciliation, receipt, analysis, and management of slow-moving stock Assist with replenishment of inventory to existing marketplace channels (i.e., Amazon) Warehousing & Logistics – Coordinate inbound receipts with 3PL warehouse Assist in supply of documentation to freight forwarders Monitor shipment of orders Skills and experience required to succeed in this interesting role: 5+ years' similar experience with inventory, forecasting, and analysis Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to work through large data sets Experience working in a high SKU environment supplying to major retailers Working with a variety of IT platforms including NetSuite, Google Apps, Microsoft Strong Microsoft Office and Excel skills Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a high attention to detail, excellent time management Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to collaborate as part of a team, as well as work independently Successful Applicant The successful individual will ideally possess similar experience ideally with brand/product-based organisations within retail/wholesale sectors. Prior experience within the infant-baby industry (maternity sector) is advantageous but is not essential. We are looking for a self-starter with an agile and flexible attitude and strong work ethic who is interested in joining a rapidly growing Australian-based company as we continue to expand around the globe.
