We are recruiting for a permanent fulltime Scheduling Officer to join our Operations team based at our Head Office in Northgate, Brisbane.
Reporting to the Scheduling Supervisor, this key role supports and optimises our operational functionality by assisting in the development, distribution and modification of the master production schedules, and provides administrative support to ensure our production capability can meet customer demand.
Key Responsibilities: To develop, implement and execute the production schedule for the manufacturing & packaging facility through utilisation of ERP & Scheduling Software as directed by the Scheduling Supervisor or Production Manager.The analysis and interpretation of MRP outputs for all manufacturing requirements.Administration work to production batches moving through ERP and Metagenics Quality programs.Coordinate with the QC Department appropriate usage/exception requirements for monthly schedule and action as necessary any scheduling related matters resulting from this review.Process updates to Planning Metrics as directed by Plant Manager or Scheduling Supervisor.Monitor and coordinate with internal departments all ongoing matters that impact the monthly production schedule, for all open orders of raw materials, labels and sundry items (as required) to ensure delivery timelines are maintained and all pending issues are resolved.Develop and circulate reports including, but not restricted to, stock status, short days cover and raw material exceptions.Perform general clerical support functions in support of the Production Manager and Scheduling Supervisor and other business activities as required.Assist as directed to support the integrity of product database with a particular focus on scheduling policies as outlined within MRP and other database functions.Support HWL Quality Systems and enforce the cGMP as it applies to the daily operations of HWL and the scheduling function.Skills and experience: Understanding of MRP principles as they apply to a manufacturing environmentExperience operating in a GMP environment (highly desired)Competence navigating D365 (highly desired)Sound IT, data manipulation and excel skills (essential)Job benefits and perks: Eligible to participate in our Company Bonus ProgramHeavily discounted product for yourself and family to purchase, with complimentary product available in the office, free onsite parkingAn Annual Recognition Program that recognises employee performance and alignment to our Values and active CultureAccess to Perkbox, an employee benefits and discounts provider of major brands, as well as onsite Yoga, Ping Pong and Art ClassesThis important role for us must work and communicate effectively and efficiently with our Quality, Supply and Raw Materials Warehouse to meet our growing operational needs- in return we will sharpen your excel analytical capability and operational acumen, and you can expect to enjoy a rewarding team and company culture with relevant recognition and development opportunities.
