In this role, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling maintenance work to ensure that fixed plant assets are maintained safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively. A key focus of this position is to lead and promote continuous improvement efforts that create value and drive sustainable outcomes.8/6 RosterDay Shift OnlyResponsibilities & Duties:Plan and schedule corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level for safe, quality, and cost-effective work execution.Manage notifications, work orders, time confirmation and documentation for fixed plant asset maintenance using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system including SAP and Pronto.Organise and monitor parts, materials and external contractor services to ensure availability for the scheduled maintenance and shutdown works.Liaise with procurement and stores teams to align inventory levels with scheduled maintenance activities, maximising cost management whilst minimising delays and downtime.Collect and file drawings, manuals, and other documents for critical fixed plant assets and provide them to crew and external contractors to assist with maintenance and repairs.Provide cost estimates for maintenance, repair and project works and prepare quotes as required.Other maintenance planning and administrative tasks as directed by Site Manager and Operations Manager.About you:Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar capacity in the mining/construction industry.Significant experience in manufacturing, heavy industry or mining environment.Good technical understanding of fixed plant maintenance.Strong organisational, decision-making, and time management skills, including the ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet challenging deadlines.Excellent collaboration, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Demonstrated willingness to follow policies and procedures.Requirements:Australian recognized qualifications in a maintenance-related field (mechanical or electrical) including trade certificate or engineering diploma/degree.Valid Australian Driver's License.Current Working at Heights certification.National Police Clearance.Willing to complete full pre-employment medicals.Current Confined Space Entry Training.Australian High Risk Work License in Forklift and EWP (desirable).
