Management Accounting & Budgeting (Accounting) Full time THE COMPANY Our client is an established national service provider that provides services to a diverse client base across Australia. They are a recognised industry leader and in a great position to increase their footprint and market share. You will report to a hands-on financial controller and work alongside a tenured supportive finance team. You will be a key member of the finance team and a business partner to senior business unit managers and stakeholders. There will be the occasional trip to site to meet your business partners and operation teams. THE ROLE Preparation and analysis of monthly management reports, including balance sheet, profit and loss, and cash flow. Maintenance of internal controls, including reconciliations and general ledger entries. Contribute to improving the company's financial reporting systems and processes. Liaise with operations managers regarding budgets and variances. Analysis and reconciliation of customer and supplier accounts. Management of quarterly reports, including analysis. Review and analysis of departmental KPIs. Preparation of budgets and forecasts. Maintenance of fixed asset register. Ad hoc projects and analysis as required. REQUIREMENTS Ideally, you will be newly qualified or working towards CA/CPA. Previous experience working for a medium-sized business is essential. Enjoy building relationships with senior business partners and operations teams. Proven time management skills, coupled with the ability to work to strict deadlines. Positive can-do attitude.
