Since our inception in 1972, we have grown to operate 24 offices strategically positioned throughout the state, supporting our mission to uphold justice and human rights.
Role Purpose:
As our Administration Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Townsville Office. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will lead a team of administration professionals to ensure efficient office management and support for our legal practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the administration team, fostering a supportive and collaborative work environment.
* Legal Administrative Support: Manage and coordinate legal administrative tasks such as document preparation, database management, and client correspondence.
* Office Operations: Ensure smooth operation of office facilities, including procurement, maintenance, and adherence to Workplace Health & Safety standards.
* Client Service: Provide backup support at reception to ensure efficient client service delivery when needed.

* Experience: Minimum 3 years' experience in legal office administration, with previous supervisory experience highly regarded.
* Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office suite and familiarity with client management systems.
* Clearance: Clear Criminal Record Check.
* Knowledge: Understanding of legal aid processes and community service environments.
* Safety Focus: Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety principles.
* Cultural Sensitivity: Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity in client interactions.
